RG series of Ibanez Electric Guitars, are the Ibanez superstar guitars featuring 24 fret slim necks. Most of the RG models of Ibanez electric guitars have bolt on necks with high performing tremolos.

The S series of Ibanez electric guitars are famous for the lightweight mahogany bodies, S models also feature "zero resistance" floating tremolo, which enables the strings to stay in tune.

The SZ models of Ibanez Electric Guitars have hardtail bridges and through body stringing, as well as a 25.1 scale set neck. Ibanez electric guitars from SA models feature a flatback body and have synchronized tremolos.
