Taylor guitars product line is divided between Solid Body and the T5. The T5 is than divided in to the Standard, Custom and the 12 String. Taylor Guitars from the Solid Body product line come in Classic, Standard and the Custom variations.

Taylor guitars from the Solid Body product line were designed from the ground up, and feature Taylor custom humbuckers, bridge and tone controls. The Classic Series of Taylor Guitars feature modern-retro look, solid ash body, crushed pearl pickguard, maple neck, chrome hardware and the I humbuckers that deliver clear, rich tone.

The T5 Taylor Guitars represent the top selling semi-hollow guitars that use the all magnetic pickups for both the electric and acoustic tones. The T5 Taylor Guitars feature proprietary pickups, 5 Way switch, and Taylor T-Lock neck joint.

The T5-S Taylor guitars, feature chrome pickups and hardware, while the T5-S1 adds the maple top which creates a slightly brighter tone compared to the T5-S. Taylor Guitars from the T5 series are available in a variety of natural, sunburst, and translucent finishes.
